In case it's news to you (it's sad if it is), the demo version of Dystopia (http://www.dystopia-game.com) was released on Friday. It includes one map, but it's great fun, with lots of strategies and great gameplay balance. The team is calling it a demo, hoping Valve will buy the franchise and (unfortunately) probably make us pay for the game. Download and enjoy, it's great fun.

I played it for about an hour then uninstalled it. It struck me as just another team deathmatch FPS with nothing to really distinguish it from others I've played. The cyberspace stuff is novel - and the cyberspace graphics are very cool - but it doesn't really affect the way the game plays to any great extent.
That said, it certainly seems very polished, and the weapons look and sound great, but it's certainly not something I would pay for. Maybe if they release more maps for free then I'll give it another look, but this is one mod that has not lived up to the hype.

I imagine you didn't play on a server with very good team mechanincs...the way you work with your teammates who are hacked in to help you more easily capture spawns is truly unique from all the games I've ever played. All the implants are also lots of fun. Definitely worth downloading, I'm hooked. http://forums.3drealms.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif
