Recently (i don't know how) i have a problem with Windows Media Player (latest version i believe).
When i'm viewing a movie/trailer,then all the colours are too bright and the colours are kind of ***** up too at some moments.
So can somebody help me?

If you're using WMP10, go to full mode and select the option in my picture below. This should bring up a menu at the bottom of the screen with sliders to control the colours, brightness etc. Unfortunately they don't seem to "stick" with certain types of films, in which case you might have to bite the bullet and adjust your monitor http://forums.3drealms.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif

I had this issue once after installing new video card drivers. Have you updated your video card drivers recently? That could be it.

Try the free version of the Jet Audio Player. (http://www.cowonamerica.com/products/jetaudio/) It's a lot nicer than the Windows Media player and it has audio and video conversion built-in as well. You also have easier access to the color/saturation controls.

Also check your video card settings. You might need to tinker with a color profile that applies to everything on screen (not just desktop or video). I noted this on my Nvidia, I believe the overlay or somesuch gamma was high and thus my Windows Media video was way bright.

The option was on "Desktop", i switched it to "All".
Now things are as they should be again.
Thanks, phait (and the rest ofcourse) for your input.
