View Full Version : Cannot playback Kung Fu 3 mod intro movie.

Has anyone else had problems watching the into movie which is supposed to load for KY's Kung Fu 3 modification.

It is apparently encoded in a codec called AngelPotion which uses the FOURCC code AP41

AngelPotion seems to be an illegal codec and so I'm sure I'm not the only one who can't play it back. It seems to be derived from Microsoft's MPEG-4 Version 3 codec which is no longer in development. I installed MPEG-4 Version 3 codec in the old codecs for Media Player 6.4 pack, but it still will not playback.

Does anyone know of a working codec for this?
I wanted to try and convert it to DivX codec AVI with Dr. DivX so it will plackback on my computer or possibly convert it to use the Xvid codec which I aslo installed.

Here's the error message I get when I try to play it back in DivX Player 6, the file extension is .avi:

Thanks. I did make a copy of the movie which is DivX encoded in case I ever loose that other decoder. But I think I'll remember it.
