Help! Can someone recognize this song?

I was at the mall one day and I heard this song playing.. usually when I hear a good song I play attention to the lyrics so I can search the net by the lyrics what song it is. This time however, there was so much talking around me I couldn't catch the lyrics but I remember the tune. So I made this short clip of the chorus if someone would recognize the song from here..? It was a rock song with very strong distorted guitars and I think the tempo was just about the same or maybe faster as in my clip.
Oh and there was a really silent part towards the end of the song. In the end the sound got more and more distorted and finally turned into noise. Not sure if I can remember more info..
I think it's a fairly new song.. I've never heard it before anywhere.

Like a lightning from the sky, the guitar riff in the beginning of the song came to my mind! So I quickly had to made another clip! I'm pretty sure the guitar played these notes and it should be pretty recognizable if you know the song..

This is so silly but this song has been haunting in my head for days!
