New Parody's?

Well since we are creating new high res textures and such why don't we add some parodys/jokes about current games and movies to update Duke3d a little more.

Such as add the new Imp from Doom 3 in sprite form dead on the ground or something. Make jokes aobut blood and stuff.

I think it would be neat to add some new parodys to D3D.

that's what I'm doing all the time... look at the soap for example which has the name of tyler durdens soap company on it (fight club)...

Parody's. Not sure what you mean. Like making fun of games or up coming games? Or just having littletid bits of other videogames in there. (Like the DOAX calander)

They where parodies. We could add new ones. Just make a sprite of a video game hero and voila.

Do you mean add new stuff to the exisitng 3DR maps, and distribute them? I believe that's illegal.

I think this is a extraordinarly bad idea, the aim of the re-modeling project shoud be to create a new game/mod from scratch. That is what DNF, other official Duke games along with mods/TC's for Duke3D are for.
