I was thinkinngg (<-uh oh), and realized "what if I'm not done with my mod by the time Max Payne 2 is released?" and I further thought, what if I'm able to do stuff in Max Payne 2 that I couldn't do with 1? Soooo. How much compatibility will there be? Say I create 80% of my levels, and then I have Max Payne 2 in my hands, could I switch them over with relative ease? Cuz if it's still going to be the Max-FX technology, and maybe the same version of MaxED or an updated version, it couldn't be too hard to implement backwards compatibility.
I just don't want to have worked long and hard to create my TC, just to have MP2 come along to make noone be interested, have better editors so you can do much cooler things with half the trouble, and generally just make my mod be crap.
But anyway, the meaning of this post, have it be backwards compatible!
