Hi everyone, I've been reading these forums on and off for years, but just recently decided to register to participate in conversations. I was going to make a topic about Duke Nukem Forever for the Nintendo Revolution (name is bound to change), but it seems someone has beat me to it. I know the other thread got locked and I fear this one may as well (I don't really understand the reasoning behind that, but anyway), but I just had to make this. Sorry in advance. I just really think that as a pioneer in interactive games 3D Realms should bring their next installment in the Duke Nukem series to Nintendo's new console (in addition to a PC version). As you know, the system's innovative controller has just been showcased and it really looks like a perfect match for a Duke game in my opinion. This kind of control would also really help set Duke apart from all the other FPS's. If I remember correctly DNF was also slated to appear on GameCube at some point, and many exclusive and non-exclusive Duke games have been made for a variety of Nintendo consoles in the past years, so it would only be natural progression to have DNF for Revolution.
To prove my point and to try to justify this new thread I present you the following image, which I quickly made (inspired by someone's similar picture for the next Wave Race). Please understand that these are just quick examples and could without a doubt use some refining, but you should get the idea. Some of these situations may use same control methods and can contradict each other, however this could be avoided by accessing different control modes depending on a situation with a button press, having the game AI recognize the situations and map the controls to act accordingly or by using the controller attachment for more control options:

I apologize for the somewhat crude image, but I was feeling lazy and didn't feel like finetuning it.. In addition to these examples you could also for example turn a lever or use a key by tilting it, open a door or closet by first reaching to it and then pulling the controller backwards or drink a beer by grabbing it and flipping the controller up to simulate hand movement. Or maybe if there's a dirty window you need to see through to locate enemies, one could just reach it and wave the controller to clean some dust off it, etc. And that's just scratching the surface; possibilities really are almost endless.
Anyway, I'm sure the wise folks at 3D Realms recognize the potential of the new Revolution controller and at least consider this option. I honestly believe we're approaching a new age in computer and videogames here.
Please 3D Realms, make it happen!
EDIT: Please link to images this big in the future
