Trillian 3.1 issues

Okay for some reason I've been getting complaints that I appear offline when in reality I'm not. It seems that anyone who uses trillian has no trouble seeing me, but msn 7 people can't see me. http://forums.3drealms.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/redface.gif

I don't really get this...but it would definately explain a few things.

Can a few trillian users do me a favour and ask around to see if you appear offline or on? It seems that if we message people who see us as offline then they can answer so long as they don't close the window.

I'm confused as to how to fix this, and I need to find a fix quick because MSN 7.5 isn't exactly making me feel at home. Its missing too many features that I need, and sports many features I wish it didn't. http://forums.3drealms.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif

The MSN plug-in for me works maybe 30% of the time I have Trillian running. Is this a common problem?

Trillian is still way too buggy. I use it only coz it has both Yahoo & MSN together.

Buggy? It was working just fine for months and then suddenly this happened. I can't seem to find any info on their wbesite/forum either.

I've also had issues with Trillian crashing and giving me errors. I just use my regular programs like ICQ and MSN instead. Works fine on my mom's Win98 SE machine though. http://forums.3drealms.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif

I've had no problems with Trillian, other than hundreds of people all talking at the same time the Sunday before last... I think it had caught that ILoveIvan virus, the one made by a mad Bulgarian-Canadian http://forums.3drealms.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/hhg.gif

I only installed Trillian for the times that prickly MSN decided not to send my chatter text.

I just don't like msn's fluff everywhere...I mean the window takes up half my screen on 1280x1024.....and yet there aren't many contacts visible at once....

I also hate not being able to rename contacts. I have to examine every user just to make sure I'm talking to the right person. I don't want msn+ because that thing is spyware ridden and for some reason had a service that started with windows last time in order to work right.
