There are a lot of threads appearing in general gaming concerning other steam products, why not just change the half-life 2 forum to a Steam forum?

I like keeping this HL2 based. True Steam is related to HL2 a bit, but HL2 isn't the only game on Steam.

So I think the Steam should be keep seperate from HL2 forum. Just hink what would happen when the first SiN Episod eis released.

If Steam is part of this forum, tons of SiN threads would pop up here. Just better to keep em seperate.

Call it the Steam forum. That will warn users to stear clear, and keep General Gaming clean.

Half-Life 2 is more easily recognizable than 'Steam' or anything like that. I say keep things the way they are. Plus it would probably be complicated for Joe ayway. Don't fix what ain't broke.

Perhaps it would be better to leave it as it is and have an additional forum for 'Steam Games'. Valve and HL2 are pretty synonymous, but as things develop, it may well be the case that some games available through Steam have not much relation to Valve or neither are produced using 'Source'.Steam in theory at least, is mainly a method for the online distribution of games. There is nothing to say that it wouldn't distribute gam,es made under a Doom3 license for example.
