A remake of my EDF Base level (http://tiberius.levelzone.net/review.php?mapname=EDF+Base), although this is just the outside.

Outside looks rather bland. There is also a lack of shading to be found. Giving that your not completed yet, Im sure thats bound to change, but I thought I'd just remind you of the shading part. Everyone has there own technique, but Ive always strived to complete a map room by room.

The thing that bothers me about shading, is the fact that in 99% of the maps made don't have a light source to creat a shadow.
And some maps that have been reviewed and given hi marks, shading put in hap hazardly.

well when your lookign at outside screen shots you have the natural source of light. The sun.. inside you have windows, lights, etc.. I dont think it to be to hard to do, but I agree with yah on the fact that a lot of maps have some strange shading. but even if a room is pretty dark, it still has some light in it, and anything to obstruct that light will make it darker.
