ROTT modem help needed

I am looking for any information any one would have regarding my computer locking up evry time i try to play a modem game i am using a new 56k modem us robotics i don't know if if it need a uart address or what. send me any info that you might have and i am willing to try anything thanks.

thanks for the reply i am just doing it like duke same type of set up but now i see my duke is doing the same thing humm this is realy getting me pissed.
