Is there any way to remove the blur/ghosting during the reload animation which pans around the player?

Fount it, disable Post Processing effects from the setup menu, and ghosting/image changes are gone http://forums.3drealms.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

yeah, and say bye-bye to the remaps! do NOT kill the remaps, the remaps is our friend!
