He captured the essence of Counter-Strike perfectly.


I screw around everytime I play Counter-Strike. I hate being a tango. So if it's a hostage I just kill the hostages every round. Or I'll hide behind the hostages and strafe or zig zag around them and some CT kill all of the hostage before he kills me or.

Or I'll use my trademark move.. Weaken the hostages then stand by them with a readied frag grenade. So when I die I drop the frag and they get blown to bujeezuz and back. I came up with that move years ago. I've never seen anyone else do it.

It's funny the Cts get mad when they try to win by rescuing the hostage, but the hostages are all dead. AHAHAH. Or sometimes I'll sneak into the hostage room as a CT and type "Die Hostage SCUM!!" Or exclaim it over the mic and then execute the hostages. I only do that when I'm the only CT left and there's only a few tangos, because I know they will see it and get pissed. That's why Me playing a hostage map = disaster.

They think it's insulting when they say something containing any of the following worlds. Gay,fag, noob, newb, loser, homo, dildo, mom, dad, sister, *****, suck, and all of that other shit, but I think it's hilarious. I laugh so hard. That's why I provoke it.

The kicks never pass, because half of the players find entertaining too. That makes it even more comical when on a 16 player map 9-11 of them vote no to a kick.

Of course it touches peoples emotions and makes them feel different - any reaction is an emotional reaction. By putting out those maps you gave the people who downloaded them another source of enjoyment, a small diversion from everyday life.

But at the end of the day what matters is not how other people react to your creations, but how you react - it's a creative outlet. So if he enjoys making the comics, if they provide him with a sense of accomplishment then that's a positive outcome.

And at the end of the day humour isn't some universal quantity; it's something that varies massively from person to person. You don't find them funny, fine, others do.

It was hilarious from issue 1 to about 60, but it seems to be losing it's funny. The author is all out of good ideas.

I'm surprised at just how consistently funny this comic has been over the weeks. Usually someone will start off with a good idea then run out of steam, but this guy is very talented and creative. I also enjoy reading his commentary which often gives a lot of insight into just how much work it takes to create these cartoons.
