First thing you are going to ask is "Why is this topic in this forum?" If you see who is #2 on the list of The 10 Most Feared People in Sports (http://msn.foxsports.com/other/story/5013876?GT1=7127) ... you'll know. And only Mike Tyson is scarier!!! http://forums.3drealms.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/eek.gif

Video games are in the mainstream of sports!

Obvioulsy this was a one-man opinion, and thus not that unlikely. Still funny though.

It makes you wonder however. I once beat the first SM (swedish championship. and take note: swedes where pretty much dominating Q3) master (if I recall correcly?) in Q3 the first year. Right then I had played alot but thought "to hell with this I got better things to do". Either I was right.... Or IŽd be pretty rich by now. http://forums.3drealms.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif

Well when I played UT2003 a lot, an average game was about 50 kills 10 deaths, and this is usually with fellow pros. I could have won money in tournaments, but I never really tried. Now I don't have the time for it.

well if you didn't get any money then you really weren't "pro" as in "professional". And neither were the people you played with, unless they had made money. They might have been good, or even great, but not "professional".

As for that list, if they let "Competitive Eating" to that list of "sports" then why not video games.
And yeah, it's still one guys opinion.

Girl gamers buzz about him at matches, like a group of Swedish players in Barcelona this summer. And boys idolize him

Really? How patethic.
