We just got a really cheep Nindendo 64 here at my dormatory, and we are looking for some fun multiplayer games :-) Do you guys know any?
A few good ones followed the consol:
Mario Kart
Rampage 2
Mortal Kombat 4
Bomberman 64
Diddy Kong Racing
and finally
Super Smash Bros.
TONS of fun http://forums.3drealms.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif Hoping to buy some more cheep used multiplayer games for it on Ebay or some other place.

There was this tank game i fell in love with but i can't for the life of me remember it. I think you could choose what kind of tank you were and there were powerups like nukes and stuff and you had to blow up your opponent. Very addictive and very fun. No idea the name... tank wars? lol

I always wanted to try Duke Nukem : Zero Hour (don't know if it even HAS multiplayer) but if i can't find it anywhere... I'll try to download it on the Revolution (if it's going to be good that is)...
Super Smash Bros is a great game Btw..! Never had so much fun in fighting people before..! (untill the sequel came out that is..! http://forums.3drealms.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/redface.gif)

I liked SSB much more than melee. I could never get a hang of the controls/movements/characters for melee... There seemed to just be entirely too much to keep track of at once.

Sadly the n64 only had a few good titles... kind of a flop of a system.

Road Rash 64....its a riot in multiplayer http://forums.3drealms.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif Like the others already mentioned, you MUST get Goldeneye and Perfect Dark.
I rememeber Turok 2 deathmatch was okay....but the view is very odd and clunky.
Killer Instinct Gold is fun.
I used to play Star Fox 64 quite a bit, and it has basic dog fighting deathmatch. Try it http://forums.3drealms.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif
Clay Fighters 63 1/3 is also good.
There are also quite a few other good games I had, but they are single player only.

Ironically I liked more games on this system than I do on PS2 or Gamecube http://forums.3drealms.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif
nobody's thinking about the mario party games? how about pokemon stadium?
(note: is the kurby game for the n64 even multiplayer?)

Actually those games are quite fun. http://forums.3drealms.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif
Mario party wasn't my thing....I didn't enjoy mashing my controller or rotating that joystick 80 times. My bro actually lost a controller to this game, so thats my opinion of it right there. http://forums.3drealms.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/mryuck.gif (The later ones might be better, I only play the first one)

I played Goldeneye on there as well.
I just hate the split screens. It gives your position away and of course makes harder to see. http://forums.3drealms.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif

When you have older consols your only choice is split screen so i don't see the argument... when you have split screen situations you just gotta be more careful and aware of your surroundings and opponents location. He has the same viewing you do so theres no advantage. Also, i used to look directly at walls while hiding so they couldn't screen watch and then come out and kill them as they walked close.

Duke Nukem Zero Hour and Duke Nukem 64
There is even a code for Zero Hour that can activate an almost fully playable Co-Op mode of the game.
Edit - I forgot - Conkers Bad Fur Day is very fun.

If you can find it, get Buck Bumble. Think fully three-dimensional Goldeneye. Hiding from your enemies while they fly around is awesome.
Road Rash 64 is also fun. Much better than the PSX version, especially multiplayer. You get to stick things in peoples' spokes! http://forums.3drealms.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif
NBA Hangtime!
Sports fan or not, this is THE must-own basketball game. Grab a memory pack for the create-a-player files, though.
Duke Nukem 3D
Goldeneye
Perfect Dark
Mario Kart 64
Super Smash Brothers
Star Fox 64
Those are the ones I played the hell out of in multiplayer.

Star fox had multiplayer? I hated that game's sp i know that much. It was fly-with-one-hand easy.

Yeah, up to 4 players. You could either be on foot, be in a tank, or be in your fighter. Dog fights were really fun in that game.

Thanks for all the suggestions http://forums.3drealms.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif I'll start hunting down some used games :-)
Don't forget wrestling games. :P
WWF No Mercy is the best wrasslin' game you can get for the N64 (some would say any system), period. However, the first batch of carts produced had a nasty glitch where all the data saved onto the cart kept getting erased, so if your copy fudges up, try initializing the cart (in Options, I think). Otherwise, get another copy.
However, I have a special bond with WWF Warzone since it was the first wrasslin' game with Create-A-Wrestler, something I went nuts over (Big Laddie is the greatest wrestler ever created. Suck it down.).
Nowadays when I play it with my older brother, we laugh and make jokes at the terrible voice-overs, the horrendous character models and the ridiculous collision detection.
It's a hoot of a party game, however, and a used copy is only two bucks at Gamestop. That or its sequel, WWF Attitude.
