(see Attachment) that was in the end of old DNF video http://forums.3drealms.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif http://forums.3drealms.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif http://forums.3drealms.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/love.gif http://forums.3drealms.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/love.gif http://forums.3drealms.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/love.gif http://forums.3drealms.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/eek.gif http://forums.3drealms.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/redface.gif

Someone from 3DR should answer this.

I probably should leave the talking to someone (Scott) who knew him .. but here is a related Link .. it really is sad that such a person had to go (judged from what I read). Maybe someone worthless like me should've gone instead (I too have asthma so it really could've been me instead of him)
†RIP† (http://fresh.goneoffdeep.com/)
and why he is mentioned in the video
... I'm even more affected because Doug had been at our office this week tirelessly working on an important E3 video for Duke, and Doug's positive contributions and dedication to this video will be apparent to all who see it.
Doug, you will be missed, but you will not be forgotten.
Scott Miller, 3D Realms

He used to work at GodGames and past away unexpectedly at a very young age.

EDIT: I've seen it's already been answered while I wrote

I feel very sad for him by reading about what he was like..! A very nice and positive person...
But i won't comment it... I don't think such stuff should be discussed..!

Scott Miller, 3D Realms
He didn't play any other role in DNF's development as much as i've heard..!

I KNOW that, I also KNOW that GambitMR posted it but annihilator posted after that post by GambitMR yet he still asked if he worked for 3D Realms. I was just emphasizing what GambitMR had already pointed out.

Yes, i know you knew it..! I just pointed it out for Annihilator because you didn't mention that GambitMR has posted it..! I thought it was necessary to mention to clear it out..!

He was one of the post-production guys who put the 2001 DNF video together. I believe he died of an asthma attack or something related to it.

I bet the real reason for his death, is because he "knew too much" ..about dnf or others more unknown secrets http://forums.3drealms.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

That's true... He died of an asthma attack...
Now, i think this thread should die... I don't think that we should discuss about a good man's sudden death...
