I was curious if there was some sort of website that was home to a community of independent game makers seeking help or seeking to help with projects? I'm working on a historical strategy/action game set in the Three Kingdoms era and I'm trying to find some 2-D (or if I get ambitious 3-D) artists and such, but ones that aren't asking for money (I'm not getting any money for working on it either y'know). Anyone know of such websites?

I think gamedev (http://www.gamedev.net) would be a good place to start looking for help. Head over to their forum (http://www.gamedev.net/community/forums/) and enter the help wanted section (http://www.gamedev.net/community/forums/forum.asp?forum_id=8) which is where indie developers gather to form projectteams. Note that they will ask you to conform your help wanted ad to their template (http://www.gamedev.net/community/forums/topic.asp?topic_id=338886). Doing so will also get you help much quicker. Good luck!
