Question For 3DR About Duke.

Why was Dr Proton ditched after the first Duke and never brought back? Would you consider using Proton in any future Duke projects? Also, would you consider him dead? (as in character's death)

And one more, but I don't expect an answer, will Proton make an appearance in DNF or have any references made to him (graffiti or something?)

3D Realms did originaly have Dr. Proton as the main villain in DNF, however last they where asked about this they said we shouldn't assume he would be in DNF and that he wasn't infact in it at the time. That was early this year I believe.
