SW addon wont work :(

hello i have downloaded the sw addon from some guys site on this forum..i extracted the wanton.GRP into *games* in my sw folder (i have jfsw and playwang) but when i open playwang and doulbe click wanton it just starts up reg SW..:( can someyone please help me getting it working thank you

From the Wanton Dest doc file:
1) Unzip WantDest_v13.zip to Sw folder
2) Execute WantDest.bat

Worked for me.

not for me..i double clicked wanton.bat and it comes up real fast then closes.... then i moved it into another SW folder in my drive C without playwang and i double click it a dos window comes up asking me to pick the .cfg but when i do it just closes again

Why are you using DOS windows.
DOS windows belong in the past and not used with JFSW.
You double click the .bat file from either Windows Explorer or from your Start button:
"Start" browse to SW folder, click on SW.exe then type in the .bat filename and click on OK.
Or use Playwang, maybe delete your current Playwang.cfg file first.

ok i got it working by just clicking the wanton.bat file by deleting SW and reinstalling it and playwang...now i got another problem

i wanna play coop with my girlfreind in it but everytime i double click wanton in playwang it just brings up the reg SW game and not wanton..did they add coop in it?

seriously, all your answers are in the respective programs docs. read jonof's guides to his port. It explains all the multiplayer stuff. read the docs for playwang as well, as you can make it use the swp exe instead of jonofs (if you wish).

ok....i did read all teh docs and i did EVERYTHING it says. wanton works fine when i click the .bat but when i open playwang and click on ANY tc rather it be lonukem or any other TC the load screen comes up and then the reg SW game starts up NOT lonukem or the tc i clicked. so i cant play any tc's online or any tc for that matter

i got all the tc's in the games folder with the grps and i edited the .ini i even reinstalled playwang and left it alone and no tc works only SW..

you need to make a shortcut to sw and use command line options to load the tc and multiplayer together. Although, i don't know if this works ? I've only played a little bit of multiplayer with just user maps. Not TC's...

Someone else will have to step up to help.

For chrissakes, launch sw.exe like this:

sw.exe /gTwinDrag.grp /hTwinDrag.def
