Ok, and is it possible to autoset it in the cfg ? As i dont manage using the usual syntax "showfps = 1"

I added a menu option for the FPS counter into EDuke32 a week or so ago. It'll be in the next release and automatically saves and loads the counter's state from the cfg file.
