a new lemmings game will be released for the DS.
it's a remake of the original lemmings, and to prevent people from getting bored too fast because of that, it ships with a level editor!

Maybe you should think of buying a DS? It seems like there are a few things you want for it. To bad you didn't say this sooner because just for yesterday the DS was on sale for $99 here in the US atleast.

yeah, really... ds seems to be worth purchasing..

the shackhype around this handheld is huge. mario kart: ds is the game to play as they say. i would also like to check out lemmings.

2 things:

Domain has PSP. WTF?

And is it being made by Rockstar north? (DMA design was the first ones that made lemmings)

Looks like it's actually a PSP game to me. Babelfish that article, and it says it's for PSP (Though the PSP TV thing is kind of a clue http://forums.3drealms.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif) and Gamespot has a listing for Lemmings for PSP, but not for DS. Not saying it wouldn't ever come out for DS, but at the moment it appears not to have been announced.

yeah the url for that link even has psp lemmings in it :P I'd like to see it for DS though. I've never liked controlling lemmings with anything other than mouse. touchscreen would be fine but D-pad and psp's laughable analouge nub would just frustrate me.

A while back, Blizzard hinted at the possibility of DS versions of StarCraft and Diablo. Haven't heard anything lately, though.
