That's all from Carmageddon 2..!

Well, the game is very editable. Not only can you tweak the various settings in the textfiles, but there are also tons of fan-made cars you can add in the game (like there is for the recent GTA games) , some fan-made environments (such as the city in the first image) , all C1 + Splat Pack tracks ported, a pedestrian pack with more detailed ped models... and plenty of other stuff.

As for the images: I'm using a glidewrapper to play it @ 1280x1024 and the view distance is far more than the original, so I can get decent screenshots too.

If you're interested, my little website (http://koti.mbnet.fi/jariky/Index.html ) has a few things for the game - but you'll be more interested of the links-section: there are up-to-date links to the websites of fans, whether they're still updated or not. (usually the content is still downloadable) And the "CWA" in the 'message boards' section is where the active community hangs around nowadays...

Oh BTW, there's an Internet multiplay mod in the works at the moment... which is something the game has lacked all this time.
