I remember there once was a tutorial telling how you can export your levels in to a .asc format so you can load them with 3dsmax, but i don't seem to find it anymore.
If someone remembers where it's located or knows how the exporting woks or more specific where I need to keep my program/levels as when I try to use the ldb exporter (used to make the .asc file) I get error that shareddatabase can not be found, even when the path is correctly typed, thanks.

To import you map into 3dmax you’ll need to do the following; (special thanks to Lunar Blue and Froz for the info)
All you need to do is go into the document preferences of your map in maxed and under the export option->(ldbe export parameters) you can just type -a. That will create an asc for the level when you export it.
5) Once the level has been exported, open up 3dmax and click on the Utilities tab (hammer icon) from the top right hand side of the screen. Select ‘Maxscript’ from the list and click on the ‘run script’ button that appears. Select the script called ‘AscImport’ and click on open. In the drop down box labelled utilities, select the ASC Importer v0.21 from the list and a new set of options will appear underneath.
6) Click on the .ASC Import button and select the asc file of your exported level and click open. Your level will now appear in a basic and untextured form.

I've been wondering what that Export thing is for, now I know. Previously I used command prompt to export my levels in to a .asc, but this way it is a LOT easier http://forums.3drealms.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif
Thanks for the info Aztec.

Strange ...... coz all the time I use any script I use it via the "maxscript" button. Coz thats the natural way to do it. It was MP2 plugins where I first saw such an eye-candy UI from where you won't have to open the scripts via "maxscript". But once again, it's buggy as hell that way and not linked properly. http://forums.3drealms.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif
