First off, don't ask about the subject), ok, here we go (cracks knuckles):

1) Lameduke: is it just me or is this like Duke2 3-Dimentionalized? There are quite a few elements that I wish were kept in for Duke3D. Like the coke (although there might be some legal issues if it were put in w/out the licencing from Coca-Cola, although I didn't see any notes about the use of Pepsi in Keen1.

2) Keen Studio: Hey, how's the progress comin' on it, Simon? Will it have Keen 2&3? I can't stand using KMO(no offence, Geoff, but it's way too unstable).

3) Programming Chat: Why can't people talk about compilers in this forum if the use of the compiler would to be something related to producing a program somehow related to a classic Apogee/3D Realms game?

4) Links: I don't remember who said it, but I remember someone saying something about commercial Keen games online and available from the links page in the catalog. Was this the reason I couldn't find any links for any games? I was looking for web sites with some info on Cosmo's Cosmic Adventure (it was the "Bonus" game I got when I got Commander Keen 1-3 back in '92). The seach engines didn't work too well.

1) I'd thought that myself, although there are striking differences.

2) I wanna' know, too.

3) Huh?

4) Go to "Our Games" on the main page, I think it is. You can buy games from Digital River for download at a smaller price than if you order by mail. (That is, I think that's what you wanted to know.)

Well, programmings comin' fine but it's been a bit delayed. I'm tryin' to figure out how to incorprate the hex values for the tiles, into the editor. I'm a bit stuck. Geoff?
And right now? No. No Keens 2+3. I could if someone could give me the tiles, and info on how to get the hex values.

If I were good at making editors for things (which I'm not, especially for a program I don't know anything about the structure of), I'd help, but I hope you get the info from somewhere, because I'd REALLY like to make Keen3 levels (that's my fav. Keen episode).

No, Unca' Duke, that wasn't what I wanted to know, I just wanted some more info on the game, although it seems like a little kid game (but aren't all older games like that?)

Look Simon - I told you. Send me a copy of your editor as it is now, if I like the looks of it, I will teach you all I know about saving, as well as info on how to add Keen2-3 stuff as well.

Alright. Well I might as well upload it as a pre-release for everyone. It's going to be a huge download (around 5mb), since I made a big boo-boo and now I have to include about 300 bmps for the tiles (I put them in DIRs for easy loading capabilities). I'll get right on that! I think Geoff will deserve more then just a special thanks!.
