I just reinstalled Keen episodes on my PC, after years on a back-up.

I have a problem with the colors: everything is very red. I can see other colors, but it's like there is a red filter on the screen.

As anybody a clue of what is happening?

Thanks in advance for your advices,

Steve.

That happened to me, exept with green. In my case, the monitor tube was busted so I got a new monitor.

I've had an experience like that, too! 'Cept it was blue... the monitor wasn't fully connected to the computer... guess that doesn't help much, though, does it?

Hmm... this happened to me, as well, but it was because my monitor stopped showing the colour red for one reason or another http://3drealms.3dportal.com/ubb/images/icons/smile.gif
You'd be surprised how many odd colours depend on red to be mixed, too...
If you have a spare monitor anywhere, no matter how old, try it out.

I think everyone has answered Steve06's question. Buy a new moniter. Or try someone elses. Thankfully this hasn't happened to me but if it should, I'll know what the problem is.

Many thanks to you all for your quick answers, although they do not help me much.

May be I should have added that my monitor works very well with all other softwares, so it really seems that Keen and my graphic card have some kinds of incompatibility.

Maybe it's like the SVGA Compatibility in the options menu?

Never happened to me. My friend's monitor is doing the same thing. I told him to buy a new monitor but, he hasn't yet.

Trust the computer industry to shorten "Year 2000" to Y2K. It
was this kind of thinking that caused the problem in the first
place.
