Tonight I am going to be buying the full version of Bio Menace. Who else has the full version of this game and what did you think of it. Whether you think or don't think I should buy it I'm going to buy it.

I haven't tried Bio Menace, but a word of warning from Apogee:

quote:
Bio Menace is the only game that Apogee has not been able to get to run under Windows95 under any condition.

As I said, I don't have the game, so I don't know if this means it wouldn't work even in pure DOS on a computer that had Windows 95, but just a word of warning. And btw, if you don't care what our opinions are, why do you bother asking?

How odd. It's always worked fine for me. Always thought the game was too hard, though--or too long. After I beat the big brain boss guy, I thought that would be it--but it went on. I gave up two or three levels after that.
For all I know, I gave up on what was the last level, but it always seemed like a really complete game, to me. I might've enjoyed it more if it had had a God mode instead of that funky key-combo thing. http://3drealms.3dportal.com/ubb/images/icons/smile.gif

Er . . . Alien Carnage is available through Apogee. Why would you call Eidos?

Well I got it 2 nights ago looking at my first post in this thread. I am mostly at my grandparents house anyway so that gives me at better chance at playing Bio Menace. Well there's only one thing I haven't tried for my computer at home. Telling my autoexec.bat file to not load the TSR's. The only reason why I haven't done this is because I don't know how. They don't give you instructions. I don't have a dos manual so could somebody tell me how?
Oh HOBORG about the full version of Bio Menace. I DEFINATELY recommend buying it. It's totally awesome. I beat episode 1&2. 1 was easy. 2 was not the easiest thing to beat but I thought the enforcer would be harder than what it turned out to be.

I don't have it, but the shareware
is cool enuf. I wanted Alien Carnage
for a year and after that I finally
learnt that there was no point in
bugging Eidos for it - let me quote
the phone conversation: I phone
Eidos and somebody who sounds like
Lara Croft picks up the phone
and says 'hello. Eidos Interactive.
How can I help you?' I say 'do you
have a game called Alien Carnage?'
Less than half a second later: 'no.'
'Oh, I thought you used to be
called US Gold and your budget
range had it, didn't they?' 'No.'
OK, back to the point, I'd just buy
it.
