Just found an archive with old maps I made long time ago, I stopped making them after those. I had no internet connection. Ever since I play duke3d, it became one of my favorite shooters... it was actually my first, next to Doom.

The maps have some lousy Dutch discription, I've had no intention to describe them in English back then. However I took over the basic description from some Map CD I bought which looks like this:
--------------------------------------------------
* Play Information *

Single Player : Yes
DukeMatch Level : No
Difficulty Settings : Not implemented
Monsters : Yes
New Graphics : No
New Music : No
New Sound FX : No
Demos Replaced : No
--------------------------------------------------

Here are the links to my map archives:
Duke's New Adventure (http://cracko.250free.com/duke3d/Dukes_New_Adventures.zip)
Duke's New Adventure II (http://cracko.250free.com/duke3d/Dukes_New_Adventures_II.zip)
Other Maps (http://cracko.250free.com/duke3d/Other_Maps.ZIP)
Unfinished Maps (http://cracko.250free.com/duke3d/Unfinished_Maps.ZIP)

It took me quite a while to learn BUILD, as my English sucked horribly... I even printed like 50+ pages from the buildhlp file, so experimenting had priority.

I have to say I had some crazy ideas when I was making these maps, check em out!

Quite an imagination you have. Why is there a ff7 map? It has nothing to do with it! and at the bottom of the "long map" there was beds?! did you think that would break duke's fall?
funny funny!

I was basing the ff7 map on the final dungeon, where you have to jump all the stones, saw those pool balls? Their Materia! =p

The 'Long' map, I think the bed was intended as a joke if you don't know a way out and just wait to fall to death. You were supposed to fly towards the alley.

Heh, damn funny now that I'm looking back at this. I'm trying to get back into map editing ("*****, how do I change sprite tags!".
I remembered it was very enjoyable to make them after beating all episodes.
