This is how to get Bio Menace running

I posted this a while ago, but felt it was worth repeating: It's the age old question on this message board. How the crap do I run Bio Menace without it freezing? There are two things you can do. Either boot up in Safe Mode, which is the least preferable since there is only PC speaker sound. Or you can get rid of a little line in config.sys called DOS=UMB. Actually, the best thing to do is to make a shortcut on your desktop, right-click on it and go into properties, click program, advanced. Click MS-DOS mode, click Specify a new MS-DOS configuration, and finally search CONFIG.SYS for DOS=UMB, and get rid of it! You can now run Bio Menace just fine, with sound and everything.

Although I am glad that this works for you it does not work for everyone.

I just tried it and on one machine I am able to play with out a problem WITH DOS=UMB in place and on another I still can not play even booting off a boot disk.

Well your thing worked. I called my dad and told him what to do. He did restarted the computer and played it thru Windows and it works!!!!!! Thank you.
