This game looked very interesting, let's hope it turns out well on the PC.

You pc gamers are in for a treat. Unfortunately, it has little replay value.
The main reason to replay it is to get Acheivements. I wonder how they'll work that into the pc version.

Yep, there have been rummors about this PC release since the Xbox version. http://forums.3drealms.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif
Makes me very happy... a new shooter to be excited about.

Im not sure, from the review it looked incredibly repetitive. I'll still give it a try if they get a demo though.

Why are people surprised by this? A pc version was anounced the same time as the 360 one.

Who says we're surprised? Most of our excitement is because we have an actual release date now (or at least: month).
Excellent. I knew it was going to happen http://forums.3drealms.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

The PC version should be better with mods and stuff. I really just wonder how much microsoft paid for their 4 months of "exclusive".

A PC version was rumored, but never confirmed at the 360 launch. Even Monolith and Sega wouldn't confirm anything.
But PC shots of Condemned did show up every now and then.
But now all is right with the world and it's coming to the PC, and since I can run FEAR at a really good clip I have no worries about Condemned. http://forums.3drealms.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif

Yes, judging from the trailer it looks exactly like F.E.A.R. from a technical point of view, is it true that it's the First Encounter Assault and Reconnaissance engine? I assume so since it's Monolith behind both games http://forums.3drealms.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif
Why no Condemned in your signature, Damien? http://forums.3drealms.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Yes, both games use the same engine. Whatever you wish to call it the FEAR engine or Jupitor X. http://forums.3drealms.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif Fear was built on the engine first, then after the major tech work was finished they built Condemned in the engine and ported the tech over to the Xbox 360 specs.
And I just haven't gotten around to updating my sig... I'm lazy. http://forums.3drealms.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif Don't worry, it'll be in my number 2 spot soon.

I already own the 360-Version of Condemned. The game has a totally thrilling atmosphere, it's much more creepy than F.E.A.R. was imho. The puzzles are boring and the game is not too long, but Condemned is nevertheless worth a buy if you like horror games.
