How would I go about buying the rights to one of the old Apogee games, so I could make a sequel (or redistribute it). I know this sounds dumb, but it was just a thought.

Well, my guess is first get about $250,000. Then drive down to Texas and have a meeting with Scott Miller. And maybe you'll get lucky... but I am only guessing though...

Or maybe you could get Bill Gates to offer his entire estate to Scott Miller in exchange, for, say, Boppin'.

First, it would matter what title it is. We don't have those kinds of rights on every title. We do on the vast bulk, but there's a few (mostly the id games) that we don't have that kind of control over.

Secondly, I know that we wouldn't be interested in that kind of thing. It's not worth our time (or money) to even be involved in researching it.

Thirdly, you probably can't afford it. http://3drealms.3dportal.com/ubb/images/icons/smile.gif
