Any plans for a new Wolfenstein?

I havent gone through the message board to find the answer but I think a remake of this classic game would be great, after all if it was'nt for "Wolfenstein 3d," I might not have a computer right now. So thanks guys! I owe it all to Wolf3d!!! and Apogee!!!

In a rescent PC Gamer article id Software said that they are considering looking back for their next game title. They said they didn't do everything they wanted to do with Wolfenstein 3D. Another DOOM game (they even claimed www.doom2000.com (http://www.doom2000.com) already) is also possible. Graeme Devine said that right now they aren't thinking about anything else but Quake 3: Arena.

So it's up in the air. Somehow I don't think Apogee/3D Realms is in their planing. SoD wasn't even publised with Apogee. Also, id is not know for releasing copyrights to other games, Dopefish yes, but not entire games based off their characters.

I think the reason they bought DOOM 2000 is because of what happend the last time they thought of a game (aka Quake3).
