I've tried many different places to find the requirements for Stargunner to no avail. I'm using cable modem so it won't take but about
10 minutes to download the 42000KB file. However, if I can't use it it's pointless.
Any info gratefully appreciated.

Thanks.

Um, 42000 KB? That's 42 MB. Stargunner is not that big.
As for the system requirements, have you tried 3DR's website?

Yeah, it is that big. He's talking about the Digital River download.

If I hadn't checked out the 3DR site thoroughly for system requirements, I certainly wouldn't have the nerve to post a message asking for them.

And why would I post a 42000KB size of the file if I hadn't already been there and seen the info? Pretty strange response.

I guess I'll just have to wait until Apogee answers my inquiry. I didn't expect these kind of answers here.

According to the help file that comes with the shareware, the system requirements are:My own experience with the shareware is that Stargunner has to be played in DOS. Whenever I've attempted to play in Windows, I've lost joystick control within a few minutes, even on systems with dedicated gamecards.

Thanks to Scotty for posting the pertinent information. I'll be downloading the game this morning and look forward to perhaps purchasing it if it lives up to the promo.
