oakrai said to me via ICQ that if you want to be in, you can.

What's your icq #? Or you can email it to him if you want instead of posting it on this board.

You guys want a story, huh? How's about this: (just a slightly enhanced version of Oakrai's summery http://3drealms.3dportal.com/ubb/images/icons/smile.gif)

Two years have passed after the horror of World War II. Two years of treaties, negotiations, rescuing victims from unspeakable prisons. Thankfully, the horrific evil is all over, all in the past now...or is it?

August 3, 1947, Kurijan, Switzerland:

"Hey Hans, wait up!" The small boy yelled to his friends. The three boys were playing near Han's home, on the base of a small mountain near the Swiss Alps. Joe (or something http://3drealms.3dportal.com/ubb/images/icons/smile.gif), the small boy lagging behind, ran faster to catch up, when suddenly he tripped on an unseen rock. With a yell, the boy fell...not onto the soft ground, but what seemed to be a small, previously undiscovered pit. Joe slowly got up, dusted himself off, and had a look around in his new surroundings. When he realized what he discovered, his mouth dropped open. "Hey guys, check this out!"

August 13, 1947, Global Defense Headquarters, Paris, France:

"William Blazkowicz, reporting for duty."
"Ahh, come in BJ. We've been expecting you!"
BJ stepped into the General's office. He sat down and looked expectantly at the General. "What brings me to Paris, General?"
The General returned BJ's stare for a moment, then sighed. "Ten days ago, there was a discovery made in a small Swiss mountain town called Kurijan. One of the citizens apparently fell into a previously undiscovered hole near the base of Ottoman's Peak. What was found inside the hole is quite surprising."
BJ looked at the General expectantly. "Well? What was inside?"
The General replied with another question. "Do you remember Dr. Schapps?"

Upon hearing that name, BJ stood up forcfully. "You bet I do! I nailed that prick's ass to the wall!"

"Now calm down, there's no need for alarm. Yes, we now the evil Dr. Schapps died by your hand and gun, and we are all happy," the General replied. "However, what he have uncovered in this small Swiss town is what nations all over the world have searched day and night for: Dr. Schapps's secret underground lab!"

This is just a small sample. If you like it, then tell me so I can write more http://3drealms.3dportal.com/ubb/images/icons/smile.gif

I agree. It does sound more like an X-files movie. My cousin would love that story.

This has nothing to do with this new wolf3d or a story but I just wanted to let you guys know that I picked a name for my wolf3d game. It's called Rise to Power. What you do is find hitlers bunker and defeat him. It's not assassinate hitler but has it's own file extensions and once I find out how, it's own filenames. And for more features you know where to go.

Oakrai is suggest that you organize things for this game. You should figure out who does what. I will volenteer to edit the source code. Though I am limited to what I can do I still can do alot. Nothing big like reprogramming the whole game. OPPS did I just say that.

I'm the head programmer. I compiled the Wolf source, and:
(1) Changed floor\ceiling colors
(2) Added a jukebox cheat
(3) Made teleporters!!! (E-Z)

However, it freezes constintly, so it's not going to be released.

it's kinda off-shoot, but after the search for the spear i think you can try something like the holy grail, where B.J is in formed that nazi survivors in argentine had discovered the grail in the amazonas forrest, he chased them there, fought them in lost temple, only to discover the grail's not there... he needs to go back in time to join arthur's knights in their search (of course the nazis are already there, making it harder...
then it is revealed that the grail was taken by creatures from hell (i know it sounds like doom), who wanted to avenge the fall of their leader at SOD.

Now that I'm part of this TC i've got several queries:

1. Are we using the Wolf3D pallette?
2. What format do you want level designs in?
3. Is the source code going to be changed?

Anyway, my ICQ# is 40937169, if anyone wants to send me any messages.
