I have the full v1.4 of Wolf3d. But in earlier days I had the full v1.1 Wolf3d. But I don't have v1.1 anymore because somehow all the installation files were wiped out. I don't know how but I would like to know if there is any way I can get the full v1.1 of Wolf3d. If you need proof that I have the full I can prove it.

Uh, wasn't v1.4 the shareware episode only?

Hum, I have the 1.1 installation files...
but why do you want it? V1.4 looks better than v1.1. Well I guess it's not real different, but v1.1 has some annoying things in it that v1.4 doesn't http://3drealms.3dportal.com/ubb/images/icons/smile.gif

I have both v1.1 and v1.4 registered versions, and v1.1 shareware (I bought it at Roulstons drug store about 5 years ago).

Also, did you know (this may be in the hint manual. dunno.), in Spear Of Destiny, pressing F10, G, TAB will turn on Godmode even without the debugmode parameter.

Also, if you just sit there for 30 seconds, BJ will stick out his toungue (in the stbar).

It's the full version, not shareware http://3drealms.3dportal.com/ubb/images/icons/smile.gif

The v1.1 files won't fix any problems you're having with the exe you compiled, if thats what you're trying.

Joe, I'm not trying to pirate anything. I do have the full version. I just don't have v1.1. I really liked that version for some reason and would like it. How do you think I'm making a Wolf3d game and editing the source code. You can't compile the SC with shareware. Plus I am making a 60 level set. That should tell you that I have the full version. I'm pleading to you to email it to me. I learned my lesson about all that legalty stuff a couple of months ago. I wouldn't be asking this if I didn't have the full version. I did buy the full version (both v1.1 and 1.4). One (1.1) I ordered at Apogee. And the other (1.4) I bought at Wal-Mart. The 1.1 installation files were wiped of the disk. It's been so long (I was about 8) I don't remember if it was 1 or 2 disks. Now I am 13 and am asking if someone would give it to me.

Copying/trading/whatever of commercial software whether or not you legally had bought it elsewhere is still illegal.

First, openly requesting registered software be mailed to you is highly illegal, and is downright rude when you do it on the support board for whose software it is!

Second..

There were registered and shareware versions of all versions from 1.0 to 1.4. Except v1.3, there never was a 1.3 released.

v1.1 and v1.2 both say v1.1 because someone forgot to update the screen. If yours says v1.1, it's about a 95% chance that it really is v1.2, as v1.1 was only distributed for about a week and a half.

The only way to tell the difference between v1.1 and v1.2 is to play Episode 1 Level 1. Try to use the secret warp to Level 10. If it takes you to Level 10, then you have v1.2. If it goes to Level 2, then you have v1.1. That was the reason for the fix.

Also, there are no patches available - we weren't doing patches back then.
