Hi guys,

Is there any way of properly posing the character meshes from Max Payne 2 and exporting those newly posed meshes to a file compatible with 3DS Max 7? For instance, how one can pose models in Poser, then export them to a format suitable for Max to use.

If I convert the .KF2 file of a character mesh to a .3DS file and open the model in Max, it is almost impossible to pose the mesh in any realistic posture without running into WAY too many problems along the way.

I want to be able to pose the character mesh to whatever posture I so desire in order to be used in a stills image render.

DP.

You can do that in Milkshape3d. But the weighing information screws up a bit as Milkshape3d doesn't support "weighing of a single vertex among multiple bones".

Or you could ask me about it http://forums.3drealms.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif http://forums.3drealms.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Do explain it publicly. I'm curious if I'm aware of anything or not. http://forums.3drealms.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

I made my graphic novel in poser, so I already have Poser ready Max Payne figures.

Yes .... and I also remember Mariamus is a Poser Goddess. http://forums.3drealms.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

@ Mariamus:

Could you somehow get me a Poser-based Wedding Gown? I'll try to dress Mona in my free time. http://forums.3drealms.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

I'm serious though.

That could be arranged. Dunno if it will fit mona, though.
