Hey. I do not have nor can I find ROTT in the stores. I know I can order it online but could someone email me all the midis from the game, if that isn't illegal?

Use the Fish was rejected because it wasn't ever meant to be a serious level. Joe Selinske did it as a gag. Valhalla, I don't remember - was that the one where everything was god mode, and the idea was to push your opponent off the level? I'm not sure why that wasn't used.

Probably we got tired of hearing the God mode sound too much, and thought it was annoying - I don't remember for sure.

Wasn't the God Mode poking fun at John Romero?

Yep. I think it was the sound that Romero made when he kicked on God Mode and noclip in Wolf3D, and walked through the walls blasting Nazis.

i guess the ghost of john romero was too much.....
anyway i went through the entire rejected set, asnd some of thos are really cool, my favourite is the walhalla (the one on the mountain to with a lot of chambers containing god, dog and mercury modes) but there are some cool ideas, like the death box (you are trapped in a box with all the available weapons, icluding the staff, and the EXCALIBAT!!!)
were they all dropped cause the design was for regular levels? or was there different reasons for everyone?

well, appears that there's another ghost to deal with, just found out that both of those levels were Tom Hall's.
here's looking at the tomahallics....
