Plenty of Prey Previews Popping Up

Well, it appears that some floodgates have opened in regards to Prey previews today coming from the press tour a couple of weeks ago. Last week we had the excellent 5 day series from 1up.com, and now we have half a dozen more Prey Previews available online.

We've got previews from Shacknews, two previews from IGN, as well as the sites Kotaku, Computer & Video Games, EuroGamer, & and Hexus. Make sure to check 'em all out. Let's get right to them, with some quotes from each.

Thanks, they seemed to like it. They didn't like how most guns worked the same as other guns altough they look different, though.

Nothing new for the regular among us but this is the part that I like the most:


The biological weapons are totally off the wall, and the entire property simply exudes an original and whimsical (think whimsical in a Tim Burton meets James Cameron sort of way) atmosphere that's extremely promising. In addition to his adventures on foot, Tommy will also make his way outside the ship and take off in a one-man shuttlecraft to do battle amongst the stars. Between space combat, the spirit world, portals and zero G, Prey looks to turn the FPS genre on its ear this summer.

Actually, almost every preview mentions 1-2 things that another preview doesn't mention... And every preview is seen from a slightly different perspective... http://forums.3drealms.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/redface.gif

I don't mind anyway, by not reading most of the previews I'm missing certain pieces of information. That's actually a good thing, I want to know as little as possible.
Normally I'm always too tempted too look, but now that there are so much previews popping up I'm discouraged and will never be tempted again to look at a preview until I've played the game myself.

I know just enough now to keep me going until either the demo comes out or the full game is released. I don't want to be over saturated with info before I play it, and I'd still like there to be a few surprises along the way.
