Too short?

i, like probably everyone else here, think that max payne is possibly one of the greatest games ever. Now, i know i've only finished it on the easy setting but doesn't anyone think that this game was just too short, I couldn't believe it when it was over so quickly, I've never finished another game in such a short time, perhaps this is testament to the game play and the grip the story has on you.. what do you think?

That's the major consensus. It's too short if you compare it to other shooters that run on and have multiplayer. In this age of online gaming and extras we've been quite spoiled that we expect so much now for our money.

I personally think it would have been fun for 3DR to include some kind of mini-documentarty on how it was made, including interviews with mabybe Petri and George and some of the others, as well as one or two extra SP vs. A.I. deathmatch maps, in addition to the level editor. But in the long run I'm nonetheless satisfied with it as it is. I'll just download a couple of mods, and.... images/icons/smile.gif

Here we go again, indeed. The matter of MP being "too" short is entirely one of opinion. Someone could claim that MP is the perfect length, and their opinion would be equally valid.

IMHO, I would have liked MP to be longer, but only because I enjoyed playing it. Do I feel I got my money's worth? Yes.
