Shadow Warrior TC for Duke Nukem Forever?

I think it'll be just great if 3D Realms could do a Shadow Warrior TC for DNF after it's completed.

i don't think that would ever happen. if 3dr was going to make anything to do with sw it'd probaly be a squel rather then a add on for duke. i'd really like too see another sw game,that'd rule. if a sw tc was ever going to be made it'd probaly have to be by a fan

But if someone else (or a team) wanted to do a TC for DNF (or possibly for another game) based on Shadow Warrior, could they?

I could be wrong, but I believe that K T Ong was referring to a Shadow Warrior sequel. Remember, Shadow Warrior started out as a TC for Duke3d that 3D Realms was doing, but after a few BUILD modifications and the like, they discovered that they had another game they could market.

Hey Joe, I remember reading how a lot of asian pople thought Shadow Warrior was racist or something. Is that why you guys arent doing Shadow Warrior 2? But what was so racist about it? Were they mad because a white guy was doing Lo Wangs's voice? So what! He sounded like the real thing, and it was freaking funny!

I'm Asian but I don't think Shadow Warrior is racist. On the contrary, I'm almost flattered by it. http://3drealms.3dportal.com/ubb/images/icons/smile.gifAfter all, Lo Wang's supposed to be a hero, not a villain. But I do feel a bit disappointed that 3D Realms didn't incorporate more elements of authentic traditional east Asian culture into the game, which I strongly feel would only have made it even better.

Well the fact that the game runs without the cd can kinda open it up for pirating. Nevertheless i don't see why you wouldn't give sw a second chance i don't think its fair to expect a mega hit for a brand new game that doesn't have anything to really fall back on. after all its nothing like duke nukem (although i still think its better)

Well _I_ thought SW was better. I've been "Wang-Banging" since the shareware version (and a little before http://3drealms.3dportal.com/ubb/images/icons/wink.gif). If no one else does a TC, I will! And that's a threat!

I have an idea for you as 3dr: ut up a place to vote if you want SW2 and if you guys get enough votes for it there would be no reason not to make it, set the standards so it's enough for you guys would have enough cash off of it, it's a win win situation, you guys have nothing to lose if you don't get enough, and if you do get enough you have a sequel on your hands. Just a suggestion.
P.S. Lucas Arts does it all the time for mac games and it's always been successful.

There is no possible way that the number of people that would vote for it would equal the number of people who would have to buy the game to financially make it worth our while to do this. Games aren't something you can just pull out of your ass, there's a huge cash outlay involved to do these.

That's of course, assuming we wanted to do it in the first place.
