Forum color schemes

There's this option on other ubb forums, and so I ask, is there a possibility of having a couple color schemes, or just a different background color to choose from? imo the dark look is unappealing, and I'd go with a lighter one if I had the chance.

Sarcastic response for Phait aside... the forums are meant to look like the rest of the website, hence this color scheme. It's the same one the rest of the website has.

That wasn't sarcastic, I was relaying the answer. You can of course keep design consistency by keeping the black skin as default, and having the user change it via their profile.

Although I completely understand if its enough work you wouldn't want to do it without enough demand.

If you want to remake all the images to work on a light background (and I mean ALL.. even the side menu ones) then maybe you can have a light skin :D

Well I can't say if Joe would allow another skin up there but if all images were remade then yeah if Joe says it's ok then do it.

No, he's not. Or at least I'm not. At this time I'm not entertaining alternate skin ideas.
