View Full Version : John Galt - Voice of Lo Wang
So, whenever I hear "Lo Wang drop soap, you bend over and pick it up?" or something to that nature, it'll remind me of the image of this kindly gentleman http://3drealms.3dportal.com/ubb/images/icons/smile.gif

I get asked this from time to time, and I finally remembered to do this.
The following is a picture of John Galt, the guy who did the voice of Lo Wang. He also did a voice or two in Balls of Steel, as well as something (that I can't remember) in Prey.
He's also been in a few movies as voiceovers (most notably Forrest Gump), and also was in a movie called "Born on the Fourth of July" (he got to spit on Tom Cruise). http://3drealms.3dportal.com/ubb/images/icons/smile.gif
Anyways, there some more info about him at the IMDB here:

And before anyone asks, I don't have the same type of picture for Jon St. John (Duke Nukem).

I'll never think of Lo Wang the same way again.

Why not? Just think of that gentleman as Lo Wang in his fifties, retired and putting on weight. http://3drealms.3dportal.com/ubb/images/icons/smile.gifIn any case, did your impression of Lo Wang change for the better or for the worse?
I've actually seen this gentleman's face already in the SW clue book published by SYBEX, but it didn't spoil the fun of the game for me; quite the contrary!
It's like when I first caught a glimpse of Nancy Cartwright, the woman who plays Bart Simpson/Ralph/Nelson/others on The Simpsons...quite a shock!
