Don't you think the minimum message length is kind of pointless because the only time it applies to someone it results in them typing "5chars" or just making a comment like "The message needs to be longer than 5 characters". Doesn't seem to help with anything.

It used to be 10 characters long so I guess we should be lucky ;)

I don't see any reason for people to take the time just to post "LOL," "ROFL," "QFT," or something like that. I think it's more than reasonable to have a 5 character minimum.

On the old board, any time someone was just posting a picture, they used to put "..." before it, so now it'll just have to be "....." instead :p

And as for quoting someone for truth, instead of adding "QFT", we'll have to make up a longer abbreviation (which sounds like an oxymoron) -- how about "QFTGDT", "quoted for the God damn truth"?

Or you know how about actually posting proper posts?

I don't appreciate "getting around" the rules like that.

Yeah, why not just put "You're absolutely right" and then add to the conversation? Just posting "QFT" or "LOL" or something like that contributes absolutely nothing to any thread. If you're going to post a picture, then it isn't hard to include a brief description in the text.
