I just did a quick google search and found exactly what you're looking for
(I think). Go here:

Download the latest mac version and see if it's what you're after.

Please don't ask me about any mac specific stuff, I don't even own a mac
so I wouldn't be-able to help you...
This version of rott may or may not be anything like winrott...

That is the sdl rott compiled for Mac OS X and I have tried it on my Mac Mini but the controls didn't work so well (the mouse if I remember correctly the window wasn't capturing the mouse correctly or something, I have to try it again to be 100% sure) so I just stuck playing winrott on my PC (laptop). My advice would be to go for winrott it's just better all around.

It would be cool though if someone made a better ROTT port for Mac OS X.

Edit: Ok I tried the SDL Mac OS X version again and it is ok if you just use the keyboard to play the game but if you want to use the mouse it's not so good as the mouse in the game is unable to move beyond the screen like it's trapped to where you can move your mouse cursor to and won't let you turn much at all. Then it also doesn't have any high res options on the Mac. So the SDL Mac version is only good if you are ok with 320x240 and keyboard only gameplay.
