Forum group inconsistancy (bug?)

I noticed the following "bug" just now. I made a thread on the Fnord board but it also shows up as the 'most recent post' for General Messages.

I noticed the following "bug" just now. I made a thread on the Fnord board but it also shows up as the 'most recent post' for General Messages.

That's the way the software was written to work. It's not a bug. Fnord Board is a sub forum of Gen Msgs, hence that happens. If you look closer, the same thing happens on all the subforums here.

Anyway, why would you consider this a "bug" in the first place?

Well, it would seem more logical if each individual board, regardless of where it is located, would display what the most recent post is in that particular board.

'cause isn't that why that function is here in the first place?
