Can you do me a favor?
I'm having a problem with the 3DR forums.. I can't start new threads. I get this weird error (406) every time I try. I can post replies though.. so could you start a thread in the forum support subforum for me?
You don't have to write anything in it, just start one so I can reply.
You could name is something like "Can't post new threads.. error 406" or something like that.
I would really appreciate it
Thanks,

Thanks a lot Mblackwell!
Anyway, as you can see from that post, I can't post any new threads.
I don't know for how long it's been like this, I haven't really started a lot of new threads lately.
Anyway, when I try to post a new thread, I get this error (a 406 error) :
Not Acceptable
An appropriate representation of the requested resource /vb/newthread.php could not be found on this server.
Apache Server at forums.3drealms.com Port 80
I tried everything (deleting cookies, temporary internet files, disabling virus killers and firewalls, resetting my router, both Explorer and Firefox) but nothing worked.
Then I googled it and found some threads that suggest it could have something to do with something called mod_security.

What can this be? Does anyone have a clue? I don't know much about stuff like this and I have no clue what else I can try to fix this.
Thanks :)
How long has this been like this for? Ever since the time we switched to vB?

I am not sure, I can't remember how long it's been since I started a new thread.
But I would think it has been this way since then, I can't remember starting any new threads lately.

And just now I could preview a new thread (didn't try posting it though), but normally I can't even preview them.
But when I tried previewing more test-threads, it stopped working and I get that error when previewing them again.

For some reason i can pm laffer but not remy...
this is wierd,,,
Uh, sorry for not reading this thread before. This may be related to the problem with quick replies (http://forums.3drealms.com/vb/showthread.php?t=17426) and, as laffer already mentioned, it may be related to mod_security. The problem I was experiencing in other boards, and that it turned out to be related to mod_security, is the same one ShadeEx posted in reply #10 (http://forums.3drealms.com/vb/showpost.php?p=307267&postcount=10).
