Has anyone else seen the movie Face/Off?
I just saw it recently, and it seems that
Max Payne seems to have more similarities to this movie than it does The Matrix.
in this movie one can see all sorts of acrobatic moves seen in Max. There are also shots of slightly slowed down time. there are up close shots of big muzzle flashes. its about a guy undercover, suddenly finding his contacts were murdered. there is lots of two handed beretta action, colt commandos, ingrams, shotguns, the works.

all im sayin is that Max seems to take alot from Face/Off

It's no secret that Max Payne is heavily inspired by Hong Kong Blood Operas. John Woo directed movies like this (The Killer, and Hard-Boiled, for example), and he also directed Face/Off. John Woo ALWAYS has similar effects in his movies (acrobatics and slow-motion photography.
