First of all. The demo rocked! Refreshed my love for fps games! Which is why this problem annoys me moreso!

I get serious mouse lag and worse performance (as in i notice some slowdown with this system) with crossfire enabled. And is completely fine without (no slowdown at maxed everything, res, AF, AA). I know you're probably thinking, it's fine without crossfire if i can max out everything, but it's a nusiance to disable crossfire everytime i want to play. And also others might not be able to play as well with lesser crossfire systems, where crossfire enabled would help.

Cheers.

Here's my specs:

AMD Athlon X2 4800+
Asus A8R32-MVP
Corsair 2GB XMS
ATI Radeon X1900 XT-X
ATI Radeon X1900 XT CrossFire Edition
Creative X-Fi Fatal1ty

:) Other than this, the demo was brilliant. Didn't notice any problems, minus a wierd sky colour change (when you look towards the sun there is no blending, only light and dark) at the fire in the indian section when you gain your special spirit ability.

Hope this helps.

Same here, the game also crashed with CF.
It looks like CF support is lacking in many new games as Hitman BM, Prey, Dreamfall etc.

Rename the prey.exe to DOOM3.exe. It works for nvidia so its worth a shot. This was what made sli work when at first I got 20fps for fx-60 and 7900gtx x2 sli. Now I stay at 60fps with EVERYTHING as high as it wil go but no vsync.

I had severe crashing issues at first with or without Crossfire enabled. I was using Cat 6.5 plus the Chuck patch. Removing and reinstalling (driver cleaner, etc.) then installing the 6.5 only fixed everything.

changing the prey.exe to afr-friendlyd3d make the game fly :) :D
