Loading time

hello i have the following computer:

amd athlon64 3500+ core venice
dfi lanparty ut nforce 4 ultra-d
1 gb ram buffalo pc-3200 dual channel (512x2)
xfx pcie 6800gs xxx edition 256mb ram
70gb of 160gb free space
onboard audio

my problem is that everytime i begin a new game (or resume game or load a game). loading times delay about 1 minute or more
is this normal??????.... please heeeeeelp

pd: im from CHILE, im going to write in spanish.... mi problema es que cada vez que empiezo una nueva partida, cargo alguna o continuo la que deje, el juego en cargar (loading time) se demora aproximadamente 1 minuto o mas y queria saber si esto es normal????
por favor ayuda

Yeah loading times are very quick for me (below 20 seconds normally) so it could be your hard drive speed.

my hdd is a western digital 160gb sata 2 8mb buffer 7200 rpm....how can i see if it is the real problem my hdd????? .... if it is the problem my hdd how can i repair or solve...... sorry my english is bad...

si entienden algo de español....como puedo ver si mi disco duro es el verdadero problema????? y en el caso de que lo fuera como puedo solucionarlo????
