I'm wondering, if I were to buy all the Keen games now, would I get them in a box?
I bought them all indervidually when they first came out, but now, years later the disks haven't survived the factor of time, and I cna't find any of the boxes or documantation. It would be nice to be able to purchase them all on a CD, with the box of say, "Aliens ate my babysitter".

:(
Its a pitty, and for this instance going to warez wouldn't solve anything, because its thoes little things that I miss, like the disk lables, and the Cheap looking Boxes.

If you buy 'em from us - you get episodes 1-5 all together on a CD. We can't sell Episode 6 anymore, since it's been discontinued.
And Episode 3.5 (aka Keen Dreams) we never had anything to do with. The shareware is still out there, but it's exactly the same as the full version.
And no, we don't ship boxes - never did.

Try and find a copy of the id Anthology. You'll get all the Keen games plus other early id/Softdisk stuff and Wolfenstein 3D, Spear of Destiny, Doom, Doom II, Final Doom and Quake. It all comes in a nice big box and you get on-line documentation for all the games.
Nice set. Covers id's "creative" period. http://www.3drealms.com/ubb/images/icons/wink.gif

technically speaking, the game is not 3.5 more that it 7, or 5.5.

Really? When I recieved CK episodes 1-5 five years ago it came in an "Apogee" box with a bunch of pictures of Apogee's various games. It wasn't specific to the game, but I'd say it qualified as a box.

Technically speaking it's 3.5. Why? It was both released in between Keens 3 and 4, as well as being a precursor to the technology used in Keens 4-6.

I'm sure I'm being thick (and not for the first time!) but I actually don't - do you mean that you were saying there were never specific game boxes?
I should clarify that I'm not talking about a plain cardboard shipping box; I mean a box that came in it that was adorned so as to look like a box for a game called "Apogee" that consisted of all Apogee games produced to that point.

Correct. We never shipped individual boxes (aka Store boxes) with games shipped out of here. We had those generic Apogee boxes for awhile, but that was it.
I know Formgen produced a box for Keens 4-6 briefly when they were in retail, but we didn't have anything to do with that.
