Hocus Pocus (Shattered Worlds)

Shattered Worlds is the only part of this game that I can't solve. Once I get to Level 9, I get chased by the third one of those Tree Demons, the one you see after the first "Warp". It always gets me before I can shoot it enough to kill it. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

I have played all levels of this game and had to keep trying until i finally managed to defeat the tree demons. Try standing just behind one of thise bumps and try shooting him that way. Let me know?

There is not any hint that I can give you other than this.

Do not use the shoot power that you find on the way to get the silver key. To kill the first one just do not jump up on his level. You will not take any damage. Then get the shoot Power up for the 2nd. After you kill the 2nd then go back and get the shoot power up that you did not get where the silver key was, and then go down and take on the 3rd one. This will take him almost all the way down and make it easyer to take him out.
